On Saturday, May 31, Sergio Alcubilla and Hiromi Chappy Iida
celebrated their marriage ceremony before 100 guests at the Conference Center.
The wedding officiated by local pastor, Rev. Gavin Hamnett, in the UTS
Interfaith Chapel was beautifully done and will always bring back fond memories
to all that attended.
After photos were taken everyone went to the newly renovated
dining hall for a wedding feast which included two whole pigs cooked
underground in the Philippine tradition. After the meal, catered by the UTS
kitchen staff, there were several hours of celebration with picture taking,
dancing and good music.

Marriage Workshop, "Learning Love" |

On March 29, 2008 the Farley and Betsy Jones, a beloved Blessed couple, married for 38 years gave to the 9 couples who attended their workshop, "The Path From Conflict to Harmony". Some topics were, ground rules for a better marriage, the five love languages, expectations in relationships, the difference between the sexes, danger signs in a marriage, importance of taking time "time out", and more. They have been trained at the National Institute of Relationship Enhancement and in the Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP). Their next visit to UTS will be on April 26, 2008.
